The Cartier Tank Must WSTA0052 is the large steel model of the Tank Must, a collection that returns the classic rectangular Tank to its essentials. Designed by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Tank remains one of the most recognisable watch shapes, and this reference shows why: clean lines, Roman numerals and subtle blue accents.

The steel case measures 33.7 mm by 25.5 mm and is only 6.6 mm thick. It has a silvered dial with black Roman numerals, a railway minute track and blued sword-shaped hands. The crown carries a blue synthetic cabochon spinel, and an interchangeable steel bracelet completes the look.

The watch uses a High Autonomy quartz movement that shows hours and minutes, with water resistance to 3 bar (about 30 metres). It is a good choice for first-time Cartier buyers and for anyone who wants a slim, elegant daily watch in steel.
