The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26240ST is the 41mm stainless steel Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph, introduced in 2022 for the collection’s 50th anniversary. It was the first steel Royal Oak Chronograph with an in-house movement, which makes it an important step in the history of the model.

The steel case measures 41mm in diameter and is approximately 12.4mm thick. It combines the octagonal bezel and eight exposed screws with an integrated steel bracelet in brushed and polished finishing. The blue Grande Tapisserie dial has three matching sub-dials, a date window at 4:30, applied hour markers and luminescent hands. Sapphire crystal and 50 metres of water resistance complete the specification.

Inside runs Calibre 4401, a selfwinding flyback chronograph movement with a column wheel and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. As a result, this Royal Oak is a good choice for collectors who want a versatile, everyday luxury sports watch with a genuine chronograph function.
